Dark Horse is/was huge. And Prism has a standard and deluxe edition, both at reasonable prices. If ARTPOP deluxe was $15 I'd be okay with that, but with no standard version for like $7.99, do they really expect sales to be good?
I can only assume that they were delaying to release music videos to justify the price, because frankly some of the songs don't deserve 99 cents and should have been on the app.
At the minimum, I think it's fair to predict this will be more than JUST a music video. It's gotta be. She has never done so much promo for one music video before.

I mean, I'm all for having more Gaga songs, but those songs could have been on the app and saved us all a few dollars and maybe helped her with some more sales.

AND, she isn't really hyping the single like she normally would be. She's still being so mysterious about it, and hasn't said it officially yet. Maybe she doesn't want to focus all her (and everyone else's attention) on the single.
I hope you guys realize that the price of this album has grossed as much for retailers as a 3.6m seller at $8, and as much for the label (shipments) as a 5m seller at $8.
