Dany getting it in the end would be as meant to be as anything. but if somehow Stannis somehow becomes King in the end i would be very pleased. he is such an underdog but he's no less than Tywin in warcraft.
Finished re-watching s3. Remember when Varys tried to force Shae to leave king's landing? How he was like, " you don't belong here", "you're just a burden on tyrion.", "you being here endangers him" and all that? And how she thought it was Tyrion trying to force her to leave?
I think that might come into play this season, like that's why she's going to do certain things.
The season that’s about to debut covers the second half of the third book. The third book [A Storm of Swords] was so long that it had to be split into two. But there are two more books beyond that, A Feast for Crowsand A Dance with Dragons. A Dance with Dragons is itself a book that’s as big as A Storm of Swords. So there’s potentially three more seasons there, between Feast and Dance, if they split into two the way they did [with Storms]. Now, Feast and Dance take place simultaneously. So you can’t do Feast and then Dance the way I did. You can combine them and do it chronologically. And it’s my hope that they’ll do it that way and then, long before they catch up with me, I’ll have published The Winds of Winter, which’ll give me another couple years. It might be tight on the last book, A Dream of Spring, as they juggernaut forward.

apparantly when DW & DB pitched the TV show idea to GRRM, he gave them kind of a questionnaire to fill to see if they're the right guys to work with.. and in there one of the questions was, "Who do you think is Jon Snow's mother?" and their reply to that Qn was instrumental in him allowing them to move forward with the show! when asked what their answer was, they said "We cant tell you that"

Madonna got me so excited for this show again. Gosh it feels like forever ago when I was huddled in my apartment when I should have been doing my uni assignments but instead screaming over this show.
This is the first season for which I actually HAVEN'T been spoiled on what's to come, so I'm crazy excited. I knew about the Red Wedding prior, but thankfully I've learned my lesson and now stay away from YouTube/Reddit/almost anything GoT on the internet. So you'll excuse me if my presence in this thread is limited.
