They only have 11 reviews in out of like 200. You guys do too much.
I will say tho that the director prolly ****ed it up. His directing style didn't suit the film (from what critics say).
The problem isn't the acting which was one of Twilights problem. It's the directing. It probably will end with 40% which isn't bad by any means. You can't have everything. However it still will be a hit.
The book(s) is/are still amazing regardless so I don't care. I still hope it's good though. I feel like people who actually read the book will appreciate it more. In my opinion, Divergent is a better book than Hunger Games and I love both. Divergent is not very similar to Hunger Games.
Not surprised. Should have gotten a different actress.

And the reviews are more lukewarm than outright negative.
Metacritic and RT are different systems entirely. 49% is pretty awful for Metacritic.
...because of the way metacritic works scores tend to be more centrist than RT. Meaning that high rated items are lower, and and low rated items are higher.
Hopefully this doesn't affect Beating Heart...
