What impact did Poetic Justice have? It was the highly-anticpated follow-up to John Singleton's Boyz N The Hood that disappointed critically and commercially. The impactful black movies of the '90s were Waiting to Exhale and Soul Food b/c their success led to the production of the female-driven black ensemble movies we still see today, including Janet's very own Why Did I Get Married franchise.

Oh okay I get you now. But yeah Madonna is considered a good dancer by many don't ask me how or why. I do agree Beyonce is the bigger celebrity and no one is denying that. But I think people are confusing who is a bigger celeb vs. who has the bigger impact/influence

The impact was only in hair and fashion. It popularized this hairstyle in the 90s.
