If there is going to be a stream coming, it won't be for a few more hours. The last itunes album streams I listened to came around 4 or 5pm California time and it's still morning here.

That has to be the only reason why there were no previews. Perhaps previews are a thing of the past now?

The iTunes takeover was great but the reason that album did great was because of the viral internet promo. Ads on Youtube, Twitter, Facebook and pretty much every single website with an ad space.
