I know some of you including Bey stans may genuniely have this opinion but, 4 was trashed for being a flop, boring, too ballad heavy etc and now suddenly it's all of ATRLs fave Bey album like get your own opinion and don't just copy what's being posted a lot, the amount of sheep on this site!
To me it's overrated in the sense that most of the album consists of the same concept of a previous Beyonce song. The only song to really show growth to me is Haunted and Ghost.

What did y'all want Beyoncé to do exactly? What did you want the album to sound like? She made it more sexual than anything she's ever done, and people try to tear her down for it. She made it more personal, and half of y'all are still screaming she's fake and has no personality. So what exactly was she supposed to do to please y'all? Not that she cares or even needs to because the album and it's subsequent success speak for itself, but y'all really need to take a step back and think from the opposite of a stan perspective ('Am I just thinking this because I don't like Beyoncé and I'm pissed she made a quality album better than my faves'?')
