IF Gaga's performance was in fact "offensive" as some would like to believe, then the critics would've been the first ones to rip her to shreds for being insensitive.
All the critics have praised her....they have knowledge, they are experts....they know Gaga didnt do anything "offensive."

Yes, Demi may be wrong, but there are people who will find the performance offensive and it definitely is a trigger for those who have had bad experiences involving puking.
Since we are labeling the performance "art", realize that art has many different interpretations and this is just Demi's. She saw a woman succumbing to another woman by intentionally throwing up. That's her interpretation...
Demi is doing too much, especially since Gaga had an eating disorder as well, this was not promoting bulimia... Waiting for Kesha to complete the mess by jumping in as well
