Who cares if the world is ready for it or not? There are more important things than charts. My favorite band Depeche Mode hasn't had a big hit in decades but I don't let that ruin anything for me. They are still my favorite band.
You don't seem like such a "Shakira Stan" when you'd rather her sell-out to appeal to the masses.
