"Dexter" never had a prime -- that's a myth. The only reason "Dexter" was successful was due to
the fresh, new concept and the acting of Michael C. Hall. "Dexter" was never a "good show"
that flourished because of its writing. It's one of the worst written shows ever -- it's not a
coincidence that "Dexter" was never nominated for anything pertaining to writing.

Being a fan of both, season 6 was Dexter's prime and no, Bate's Motel isn't as good as Dexter even though the latter sucked in it's last two seasons so much I can't even bring myself to finish watching season 8.
