I don't think some of you realize the more she waits, harder will be for her to come back. There is good hype for her album now, damn even I would be sick waiting till next summer, wasn't 7 years enough for you all? And there are always big names releasing music, it's not like she's going to fight for #1 single, if she has good promotion, she will have no problems no matter who release at that time, everyone has their audience.

And if she is signed with Atlantic Records she will get a good promo -look at Bruno- she also should be the only big female popstar signed with them, so they will give her much credit!

You make a valid point about every artist having their own audience, but personally I think Hilary has the right to do roles that she thinks are going to benefit her long term. It's a little downing that Younger had to come along this year of all years, but the show is likely to do wonders for her exposure wise which could lead to a more beneficial musical return.

If Younger get's picked up indeed it will be not good for her to bring her album out in fall unless.... maybe she also can talk at that time with the director to have short parts or maybe Younger has only 10 episodes so they only need to film 9 episodes. And series shoot episodes in like 2 days most of the time so she only needs a month or so to film it. And then she can just bring the album out and promote the album in Sept/Oct.

That is... Not how it works in the US. Production on one episode of a TV series usually lasts the full week, if not longer. Monday and Tuesday are usually fitting, script walk-through days, Wednesday is rehearsals and Thursday and Friday are shooting days. Most of the time, production is running late and can continue into the weekend. TV Land shows start off with a 10 - 13 episode first season and whether or not they are a major success, get renewed for an 18 - 24 episode season.

She probably signed on for Younger because Darren Star wrote it. I see her being more successful on TV than music or movies.

I want her to do everything she possibly can when it comes to her acting and singing career. But, I really don't think doing Younger is a waste of time. What IF when the album comes out it doesn't do as well as the label and Hilary had hoped? With Younger, Hilary has a good job to fall back on, I think she is playing all of her cards right.

I know we fans love to over think every single thing but we have to remember that Hilary has been doing this for quite some time and has built an empire off it, she will do what's right for her and I have faith in her.

Absolutely. This is why I haven't said Younger is a bad idea at all. It's actually a good one. Hilary will likely charm viewers once again with her likability and talent, and manage to resurrect her acting career just in case music doesn't work out.

The only thing I wasn't here for is that it is VERY likely to affect her touring schedule drastically. But oh well.

A lot of interesting conversation going on, you all are crazy if you want her to release the album in 2015, I can't wait that long and otherwise it would be such a waste of this year.... even with Younger going on. I still have this strong feeling she wants to make them both work. I'd be really worried if she completely dropped recording after Younger was announced. She did't this time. We just seriously need that label announcement to make sure an album is set in stone and single is indeed on the way. We also have to remember hilary has become an excellent planner. Im sure she know what she's and im sure she will do whats right for her luca and us the fans.

I really wished I asked her if another project were to come up, how would you make the schedule work for both.

I was actually thinking about it the other day and Devoted would have made a wonderful title if it weren't for her ~books.

I really love the title Breathing Room, for one of the tracks she recorded. I feel like the title fits her perfectly and where she is at in life.
