I agree you dont want all the explicit singles back to back but if there's a way to tone it down it should be with Jealous or Mine. Pretty Hurts time is not spring/summer.
When you think about it the album was first planned for SUMMER; which would be more appropriate I think.
I imagine XO & Drunken released in JUNE 2013. It would have smashed.
then Partition would have been released 2 months later in August (smash again)
then Pretty Hurts as she's planing (September/October)
Doubt it, with a proper radio edit and the rumored Pepsi commercial it will probably be her biggest hit of the era. It has that summery Pharrell sound, it's perfect
I don't get why people are eager to move on from partition,the same fate will befall any single after partition if the release is not handled properly.
It's March now and Drunk has peaked. In deed we have Partition to keep Bey on the radio until Blow is released in May with the new rumored Pepcé commercial. That's what makes the most sense to me. Partition is just a trasition single to keep Bey on the radio which also works because it was doing great on its own. I want PH to be the single after Blow.
