Thank you, maybe her parents lied to her about her real age? idk, it's so weird that someone so famous has a dubious age (she's probably from 1969 imo).
She was probably just trying to extend her 20s (and 30s).
Going for a Lorde "SHE'S SO YOUNG YET SO TALENTED!" schtick.
As far as I know, New York State ID records say she was born in 1969, the US Copyright Office says she was born in 1969, birth records say she was born in 1969, and school records says she was born in 1969.
However Mariah herself has always said she was born in 1970. She even put 1970 on her twin's Birth Certificates.
Supposedly, she really was born in 69 but tommy mottola doesn't like odd numbers so he made her bump her birth year up to 70 so her stage age is a year off.
Mariah has done a great job never really saying her age. I honestly believe she stopped counting after 30. Don't underestimate her ability to live in her own fantasy world. Mariah is crazy
Yaaas Nicole stan for Lykke Li! I can't wait for her record. So far I like both songs. I'm also looking forward to the albums of Rihanna, Liars, DIIV, Lykke Li, Grimes, HEALTH, Mac DeMarco, Robyn, and Kanye.
I'm really enjoying the new Cloud Nothings and St. Vincent albums! Get into them.

"The audience barely had time to scream with delight before the singer launched into “Team,” the showcase song of the night. If “Royals” seemed to crescendo in intensity, this song’s build dwarfed it, building to a fevered, sonically layered, sweeping opus."
