The Crimean people should fight for the autonomy they deserve. A majority of them want Russia to intervene and to protect their independence. There is something wrong in a country when so many people WANT an invasion in order to liberate them.

But I think it will be solved peacefully, if one can use that word. There's nothing peacefull about the conflict, but Putin's press confernce suggested they really got it that there's no point in going any further, that would cause complete chaos and Russia would not be able to win this.

Hopefully, from now on, it will only get better, though it's still far away from any kind of settlement.
