No competition? BABYMETAL just had their Music Station debut 3 weeks ago and have had huge hype surrounding their debut album and also had 2 Budokan concerts over the weekend to boost their sales. Kuu on the other hand only performed on Music Japan (which barely anyone watches) and was still able to grab the #1 despite the lack of promotion.
You Utada stans need to stop using numbers from half a decade ago as the standard because times have clearly changed. Just because Utada hasn't released since then doesn't mean nothing has changed in the industry. Don't be ignorant.
