When a site layout is being updated, it's taken down several times to test it.

Wouldn't surprise me if they're updating it and waiting to unveil it when everything gets announced.

The reason why the old site keeps coming back is because they just use the old HTML code until they're ready to change it to the new one.

I do seriously think Adele is up to something now. Why would they bother updating a website that hasn't been used by her in months for anything, really? She hasn't posted on it since June 2012 when she confirmed her pregnancy. Something has to be on the way. I mean... Three times in under 24 hours? Plus, this comes with the whole "imminent" album rumor, which I do think has some credibility because of who it's coming from. I'm really excited! 25 is coming!

I think it's been down about 4 times now.

And sites are only ever down like that when they're being updated. And it's been down for multiple hours at a time.
