The good thing is that this song is still pretty local and MV is one of the worst video in last 2-3 years by any pop girl so this will have just mediocre success outside US but that success will be based on the song not the MV and if we calculate that EU and Latin America don't like this type of music i guess that it's peaking and dropping MV will not help the song ( in normal circumstances it helps ) .. So to conclude this - DH had a good chance to became a WW hit based just on it success in the US but the video blocked the full potential on other continents

well i don't know if you are talking just about i tunes results but i can tell that in central europe you can't hear DH on the radio . I'm not even sure that germany , italy , spain stan for the song . Her success in EU was boosted by DH success in the US and hitting No1 in the US opened the door for other markets and now DH is 4 weeks on top in America so you couldn't exclude that fact.

EU has a different approach in music than North America . Here every Pink single slays , Lana also and many more artists that struggle in the US have better results in the EU . Also many songs that are "different " like Royals , Thrift shop ect had easily rule the american charts and their success in EU is based just by success in the US charts in contrast We found love, Cali girls , Roar smashed in the same time North A and Europe charts . Also Uncle was accepted here and even now you can hear it on the radio or TV
