We have never known a non-pretentious Gaga. She was a damaged artiste who loves her fans, the gays and Warhol from the start. There just used to be more distraction from that so people didn't know/care.

She hasn't "destroyed" anything. That implies it isn't fixable or it's incapable of continuing on. That isn't the case. At all. I'm guessing a lot of people on here are young and haven't seen enough popstar ups and downs to know that almost anything is possible.

If she abstains from social media bar special announcements, reduces performances and stops doing interviews, she'll regain some of her mystery. This will ideally result in her being able to make her promo more efficient and emphasise when she wants to (less is more).

I don't blame her because we damanded that she be more accessible and personable, but it actually doesn't seem to work for her. People don't want to relate, they want to watch in awe.
