Anyone else think sacRED has more listening longevity than Preach Now? I started getting sick of Speak Now around Feb 2012.. Or maybe I was just craving new music.. Hard to tell

i literally hate all talk of the F word, because it literally is a downward spiral or talking in circles. but here is the one thing i will say on it. woman in general are perceived as (and like to be perceived as) less amorous then men, and men will forever have the stigma of being thirsty. so when men meet the expectation that everyone has of them, well it's like cool story bro, yawn. but when women decide to stray from their "i don't need the d as much as the man needs the v" and decide to play the field, well then sh** hits the fan.

and here is the thing about taylor. she spent two years (fearless era) being the apple of america's eye. when the only thing that makes her interesting to the public is her relationships, then thats the only thing they will drag her for after time because thats all she gives them.

angHOlena jolie broke up a marriage, but because she's turned into a saint and is saving the world by adopting her very own bi-continental sweatshop (and has been able to stick with her baby daddy), the world sees her as the new mother teresa, and have forgotten about her home-wrecking, incestious, blood-drinking past.

until Lord gives the public something else to talk about (maybe like her diagnosed anorexia - which i don't judge, because sh*t that is some will power if you ask me, mcdonalds is too good for me to resist), then they will keep dragging with her lovelife

this is difficult for me to answer, because for like the first 6 months - 1 year of SN, i hated "mean", "dear john", "if this was a movie", "the story of us", "mine", and "last kiss". now i LOVE "last kiss", "dear john", "if this was a movie", and i kinda like "mine", and "mean". ("story of us" is still a mess)
so for me the songs are still kinda fresh so many years later
