Not you trying to "defend" Egyptians and instead offending them a thousand times more than Katy ever could.
This is messier than the time all the white Tumblr activists tried attacking Katy for her AMA performance whilst 99% of Japanese people who commented on the performance were applauding her acknowledging their culture as beautiful and using its imagery.
Using imagery from someone elses culture =/= being offensive.
