Lana is HUGE in the college crowd and I'm sure she's big in the high school crowd too.
As if the huge album sales weren't enough, the Spotify streams in the USA (where she's only had 1 hit) speak for themselves. That album is getting an insane amount of play. It's gonna keep selling for a long, long time to come.
I don't think her next one is gonna do that well, though. She is very one-dimensional.
Katys aesthetics are so cheap, who approves this? All it would have taken was a serious approach to that same theme and it would have slayed. It's almost like her team wants her to appeal to a middle school demographic.
