Both the media and this base were too quiet on this Southeast Asia RED TOUR announcement. I was desperately waiting for the official announcement for Philippines date which I thought to mean everything. This is like five times confirmation. It means a lot: more dates to be announced, otherwise it doesn't make sense; NO early release of LP5; more time to optimize LP5...
Taylor is unpredictable, but the machine isn't, when it starts step 1, there will be step 2,3,4...

This is exactly what I wanted for LP5 tour, I think most likely it will happen.

I don't think they were hyping, it' just hard for them to decide, a lot of unexpected happened lately. Taylor''s hair in the above announcement video can prove a little bit. But once they announced it, the machine started. NO COMEBACK!

Taylor definitely has a sort of defined "image" amongst the public.

That curly blonde girl with boots and guitar is sort of her image. Lady Gaga has the crazy costumes, Kety dresses like a cupcake. etc.

A lot of imitators but the curly blonde country girl singing about boys is pretty original to her.

Actually, another way to look at it and this is just a numbers analysis and I am just assuming based on Twitter
followers alone.

When Red was released:

twitter followers Albums sold Percentage of twitter following
26,000,000 1,200,0000 1.2/26 = 4.62%

When LP5 is released, Taylor will have about 45,000,000 twitter followers, but for the sake of being conservative, i'll say 42,000,000.
Then you have

For LP5

twitter followers x Percentage of twitter = Estimated Sales units
42,000,000 4.62% 1,940,400

This is only based on numbers alone. Of course LP5 could suck and no one would buy it. Look at Artflop! But,
if the same dedication remains, then 1.9 mill is possible and more if the album is of high quality.
And although, Taylor may have lost country fans, she still has gained pop fans at the same time.

But, don't go by this analysis. It is only true if the conditions are true (same rate of buying, quality of album, and demographics of fan base), so anything could happen.
