Well I'm off to bed, but today was a great single release day, Lambs!
Her interviews were really good for the most part, she seemed very natural and funny and likable
And just like MC's blood alcohol level, the song rose on iTunes throughout the day
While the video got mixed reviews, I think it's a step up over some of her other recent videos. Plus, we get the remix video later this week
Bought it soon as it popped up.
OMG. I LOVE THE SONG. The main version of course. I've literally been playing it all day. It cracked my top 30 most played songs and will be top 10 before I go to sleep. I was all at work bopping. I ignored my boss and everything. I wasn't having it, let me revel in the music in peace. I actually left work an hour early. thankfully, my boss loves me
My idea for the video would be Mariah with her lover and like different shots of them being on a date , on vacation together and chillen at home being cute . Then a break in the song and they get into a fight and he leaves and she gets sad and then he comes back to her with flowers and they get back together (or something of that nature)

Nnnnn, that's very basic.
If Mariah did something like that y'all would be complaining.
I guess being part Dalai fan give me an edge in interpreting visual art.

I like the video . I am just saying that's what I imagined... Or it could be like Mariah's alter ego kidnapping her husband and keeping him against his will to go along with the " I can't seem to give you up you're mine" motif

The downsides of this single so far:
- Was (Eternal) necessary in the title? 1. Just as messy as # in Beautiful. 2. Makes her look like she's refusing to age (even though we know she does). 3. It's a damn mess in the remix "You're Mine (Eternal) (Remix) [feat. Trey Songz]"
- The video..... I actually liked Trey's parts more since he was sexy.
