I finally got time to listen to The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill and to be honest I have no idea what to expect from Kelly for her new album because I can't imagine this genre for Kelly. Or am I taking it too literally and it's meant only like similar song themes etc? (I wasn't listening that closely so I don't know what the songs are about and if it is suitable for Kelly, merely asking)

Wait, isn't the "If you're at all unsure of her style listen to her music!" line in the ad meant like "If you're not unsure of KELLY's style listen to her music" and not "unsure of Lauryn's style"? I just read the ad again and the more I'm looking at it, the more I think it's meant as "Kelly's style".

Is this a plot twist or y'all got it like that and I am the only one being slow?

I think the only reason Love In These Eyes didn't make the album is because it had 'eyes" in the title. lol

Now if only "Deluxe" Edition albums were a thing in 2005, those 3 songs would've fit perfectly! Gosh such a masterpiece! And the videos if we were in the VEVO era, I think 200m+ for BTHE and 100m+ for SUBG and BOY. and SUBG could've gone 6 or 7x platinum... oh the things that could've been...

Kelly needs to stop using certain words in her lyrics. Like "dumb", "jaded" etc. It fits young girls better and she is married, is pregnant and is mature.
