People held out hope for a decent Korean title track and that looks like it's gonna happen so clearly miracles are possible.
Everyone is yapping about how SNSD haven't released a good korean song in a minute but "I Got a Boy" will always be that ultimate b0p.

SNSD's songs just don't fit Hyo's voice.
This is the kind of stuff she should be doing if she were to go solo one day.

I was just saying to Jack the other day Hyoyeon could have a really good album with tracks like Maxstep. I don't think a solo album will ever be on her agenda, but I'll always be here for it.
I agree with both of these. I would stan so much for Hyoyeon if she went solo because she can go where girl groups and female soloists can't in terms of sound. Like, she was really the only female who could have pulled off "Maxstep". If the day ever comes where she gets her own mini I am so ready.

Wait, The Underdogs produced TVXQ!'s Viva too, YAS.
"Viva" is so good.
Well this has given me a bit more hope for the track.
I think Tiffany struggles with the "American" problem more than Jessica. Tiffany had to learn Korean because she hardly spoke any at all, whereas Jessica seems more bilingual and doesn't have a foreign accent in either English or Korean. She sounds native in both imo. But like Tiffany she does seem way more comfortable as an American than a Korean. Both of them were so happy and much more comfortable when promoting in the US.
Jessica is quite misunderstood because of her cold image. They don't call her the "Ice Princess of SNSD" for nothing, but if you watch her on shows like Taxi or Factory Girl, you can see that she's actually a nice person. I also think she seems nicer when she speaks English than when she's in Korean mode. She seems quite blunt when in Korea, but nicer when speaking English, but that's just my view.
Another plus for Jessica has always been her brains. She's not a genius, but she seems to have become fluent in three different languages relatively easily, so I have to give her brownie points for that.
I completely agree though, I've seen shows where she's really nice, which both makes me like her and makes her cold image all the more hard-hitting, since it contrast to her real personality so much. Like I said though, my views towards Jessica are constantly up and down, it's such a mess.
