To be honest, it's been a very long time since a song like this was a hit in the US, so I'm not sure how it'll do. But it's such an incredible song, and people all over the world love it, so I think it still has a chance in the US.

Can anyone explain to me how two big radio hits, such as Burn and Dark Horse, can have a difference of 2000+ spins when they hit their peaks? Like, where are Dark Horse's extra 2000 spins coming from? Have certain stations not added Burn? Thanks!

Well for starters, one of them just spent a month atop the iTunes chart and the other is #31, so one is a big hit and the other is just radio candy that'll easily be forgotten. No shade because I love Ellie and Burn, but DJs can only push it so far.

Both songs have been added by every pop station. It's just Dark Horse receives more spins on stations than Burn.

For example, this is Dark Horse and it's top spins on stations




And then this is Burn's top spins on stations




You can see that Dark Horse has a much higher avg.
