Btw fugs, I went to a black tie event, toasting dad's mate yesterday. He brought his daughter to the event, and our parents thought it'd be a great idea if we can be close friends like them. So we were basically just in an semi-awkward convo up until we're talking about what we listen. I answered with my usual top 3 faves. She cringed when I mentioned Lord. Turns out, she's a KP fan. And she has the nerves to educate me on why KP is better than Lord. And actually tried to drag using the usual Lord stereotype (can't sing, just sing about exes, etc.) Then I came back at her arse when she said she had only listened to
sacRED its MM singles. Then compared them to
Prism, and how shite they are compared to "Dark Horse" (which is sort of true) and "Roar" (
). I asked ha about the non MM singles, said she wasn't aware about any of them and maybe she'd listen after she went home. During all that, you can't imagine how much I wanted to put my shoe in ha mouth.
After she's done, I used my time to educate ha on Lord and Her discography. She was stuck with me & Lord/KP convo for the rest of the night after that.
My dad genuinely thought I liked ha. Little did he know that I was busy irl stanning.
Oh Tyler, how far I would go to defend yo.... A bit embarrassed now that I think of it again.
