Now don't get me wrong, Jenny has done amazing things in her career, and things that other gerls just haven't done (I'm not only speaking music wise). Janet has also opened many doors, but in her situation, what she did was so much more MASSIVE. She opened the doors for all female entertainers that came after her, and some people have a hard time admitting that and like to downplay her presence in this industry. I don't know if it's pure ignorance or the delusion that their fave can one day do what Janet Jackson did, but it's really alarming behavior by these people that should be looked at on a medical-psychological level.

So in essence Janet very much paved the way for Jenny to come in and do her thing.

What I'm trying to say is Janet has a place in this industry that cannot be surpassed or even touched based off what she's done on her own, and in her prime. Jennifer has her own place too in regards to this topic. They're each in their own lanes and have the status they do have for their own reasons.
