Could someone explain me why Gaga hasn't sent the next single yet to radios ? Is it a common thing for artists to wait several months after a song has peaked and is about to leave the US top100, to release the next single from the same album?
All during BTW era she kept saying she wanted to release the video and announce a single at the same exact time. Now that she fired Troy, looks like she's following up on it.
The insider that was posting about it did say that they were filming a lot and over time. They suspected that the video would be longer than usual, but I think that kind of leads to a possibility of more videos/interludes and such as well. The other article for the castle being used said that they hadn't started filming yet, but that isn't so as there's on the set footage which means this has been going on since she's been quiet.

Not really? At this point she doesn't really have much to lose from THIS album. Might as well shock with a surprise video
G.U.Y. will probably flop too, you need to get your expectations in check if you think that the next single will SMASH & ARTPOP will rise to the Top 200 of iTunes again.

Because she has SO much to lose commercially with this album right now. The momentum is killer.
