Ok! Like is it that hard to spin a negative into a positive? In the B'Day era, Bey ha lead single Deja Vu peaked at #4 (like Applause) and her second single at #10. It wasn't until the 3rd single that she struck gold w/ Irreplaceable.
You can tell that this culture of instant success affects even the top artists.
Some people just need to accept that they'll never be Rihanna's (with her top 10's) or Beyonce (with her acclaim, talent, beauty, grace, etc) or Madonna (with her relentless reinventions). But that doesn't mean they're nothing. Gaga can bring something different (especially visually) to the pop table yet she's hung up on a single only going #4.
