Yup
She would've done much better with everything, and 20 Y.O. and Discipline would've been completely different albums if it never happened. Yes I really think she'll finally get it all back with her next album though

For 20 Y.O. she was supposed to work with alot of the biggest producers and have a few songs that were throwbacks to the Control era. She worked with The Neptunes, Dr. Dre, Kwame, Pharrell, Polow, and Lil Jon but Jermaine Dupri took over the entire project and none of their songs made it.
Some of them even said they were really upset about it and what JD did. She ended up having to do it because he had a good track record around that time and after the Superbowl blacklisting the label wanted it, but he got it all wrong in the end.
