Single sales are just as, or arguably even more, important than album sales in today's music climate, especially in terms of relevancy. You're blind if you think otherwise. (There's a reason why the media and the general public compare Katy Perry to Michael Jackson instead of Beyoncé to Michael Jackson.) Beyoncé needs top ten singles. You're delusional if you think otherwise. At this moment, it's nice to "feel safe" as a fan, because "BEYONCÉ" sold well, but if you believe that an artist like Beyoncé doesn't want hit singles or that her fans don't want hit singles from her, then you're lying to yourself, kids.
