The numbers are just a percentage of what the top song is selling.
So if #1 is 1.000 and stays 1.000 while a song that was 0.500 goes to 0.510 the next update, it is now selling a higher percentage of what the #1 song is selling. That of course doesn't tell you which song caused the change in the ratio though; whether it was the 1.000 song decreasing or the 0.510 song increasing in sales. It's best to think of the green updates and red updates as accelerating and decelerating sales. If something is dark green, then the sales it's generating are accelerating and vice versa for red.

I'd be very disappointed if Sara wins. Let's be real here. Despite the fact that Roar's intro sounds a bit like Brave, it was Brave that free-rode on the massive success of Roar. Sara's 15 minutes was largely due to this comparison. Katy was gracious enough to share some spotlight with Sara and with Gaga's Applause.

The funny part is that the haters and the "adults" on the internet are all over up Sara's ass saying she should win over Katy to show everyone that the "original" always wins when it was Roar that made Sara happen this year at the Grammys.

I just realised that Dark Horse went #57 in Sweden last week and is rising.
Uncle is stuck at #48 and Roar is still top 20 (#18) and has sold 80k (2 x platinum)
