"Gypsy" is just perfect. It was one of my favorites from day one and it's still even growing. Dare I call it her best work?
It has a feeling of honest, raw happiness about it that nothing else she's done possesses. No fame subtext, no desire for money and power, no sexual tones, no subversion of relationship roles, no self-empowerment cheese, no pseudo-philosophical musings about a better and deeper world, no intoxication, no statements on the state of modern society - for once it's just raw love and happiness.
It's so easy to get lost in the song and its story. It's just beautiful and fun to listen to.
The one at Swine Fest was actually pretty beautiful. Starting out as that slow beautiful piano ballad.. then she cuts to "swine" and the music starts playing and she bangs the drums and does the iconic pig squeals.
But no.
The album had to give us the one that sounds like pig hiccups.
I love both. Great industrial sound. The only thing I don't like on the song is her vocals on the verses. The lyrics aren't great either but idrgaf tbh.

But wasn't that the one where Fernando, RedOne, AND Paul worked on together ?
Correct.
But it is still the best thing that Paul has touched - aside from Do What U Want and maybe Applause. Though his work in Born This Way in general is quite nice. Gaga was a lot more experimental whenever she worked with him.

Just the title "Swine" is enough to make me skip it. What a terrible metaphor
Then the annoying vocals.
The tryhard but basic 'EDM' beat and beat 'drop'

Yes
Which is why I want a simple yet stunning video without all the extra costumes and stuff, if it is a single

i get a similar feeling from TEOG. Gypsy's issue for me honestly is the production
I hate fans who can't let **** go. Get over it, we're not in TFM days anymore. Also get over the Swinefest versions. Download those if you love them so much. The album versions **** on them anyway
