Speaking of profit, what is bringing more profit to a label!?
Is the release of an "International Version" (like SNSD The Boys or TaeYang Solar) which were available a bit everywhere or import !?
Honestly that depends entirely on manufacturing costs and the retailer. If they're selling it through iTunes or somewhere where the bulk of the profit goes to the distributor rather than the label, it doesn't matter either way. If it's like a hard copy I can walk into a store in just my country and get, that's useful. But if you're asking if it's still "helpful" to buy imports - yes, anything is helpful. Even if it's only reflected on Hanteo chart rather than your local one, the label can still see where the sale was from and target events, promo, etc better.
waiT, Idina Menzel's Let It Go is smashing in Korea
It even reached #1 on iChart It would probably get the weekly #1 if it wasn't for Hyorin
But it will still beat the record for highest charting international single (Maroon 5's Payphone, #5)
