Didn't the original leak say it was an assist trophy though? It does come off as legit, but if that's the case then it's unfortunate that she's just an AT.

^The DK franchise and Mario franchise are separate entities in regards to the Super Smash Bros. cast; so you're initial point is jank is what he's trying to say. And please, Mario came from the original Donkey Kong game anyway.

I kinda liked the subspace emissary Im gonna miss having a storyline
These shots are floating around...a lot of people are saying it's not her model from Kid Icarus: Uprising and not the one from the Brawl trophy (I looked at pictures of her from KI:U, there's no way it's from that. The hair and everything is so different). Also no one can find Mario in that pose or the backgrounds in any of the screenshots. What do y'all think? If you don't know who this is, it's Palutena from Kid Icarus.
They're definitely legit. I'm expecting her to be an assist trophy just because of her size, though. She seems relatively very, very large for a playable character, though I would absolutely love for her to be playable. She would be a great way to announce a Kid Icarus sequel.
Everyone wants Mewtwo back and prefers him over Lucario tbh. I'm sure there's a chance of both but considering Mewtwo was replaced by Lucario in Brawl makes people worry. But Sakurai is probably more than aware people will commit if he isn't in it.
