Swine should have been an elaborated version of the live performance.

The piano intro, the dramatic transition, the beat kicking in, the build, the screams, the energy...

It felt epic, but the album version is like a castrated, clinical noise that falls flat.

ARTPOP is like Gaga's Hard Candy. Where Madonna thought she needed to do 'urban' music to be cool with the teens, Gaga thought she needed to do trashy EDM and drug references and lingo that should be confined to online forums like "slay!" to be cool to the current generation. It comes across as very try hard

It was already Gay enough and she HAD to go and add the "ask your gay friends .." part ... the drop and the Chorus is great nonethless and I still enjoy it and would be up for it being a single just to see what kind of bad ass rich bitch fashionista video she could pull off.
