It was promoted by Youtube in all their videos & it only sold 33k first week. Again, no thanks.

It definitely would not have been. Watching a performance is not indicative of an audiences' interest in the song itself, those views didn't translate to sales or any lasting impact. It went #1 on iTunes momentarily because of pre-orders and the fact that it's Lady Gaga. It's certainly a pretty song, but it would have been even less successful than Do What U Want. At least it has radio support. Dope wouldn't have.
