sis same! i think i was like 5 or 6 and was heart broken. i was sure she was going to win

the only other time i cried over someone getting eliminated was when Ricki Lee got knocked out at liked 8th place

The first two seasons of Australian Idol were great. It's a real shame that everything went downhill afterwards. Not just for Idol itself, but for Australian talent shows altogether. The X Factor or The Voice will never compare, in my opinion.

And Ricki-Lee... don't even get me started on her. She was THE WINNER. Everyone knew it. She was a victim of, "Oh she's safe, there's no point wasting money on a vote for her"... the same thing almost happened to Samantha Jade THREE TIMES. Thank goodness for judge saves.
