Well, tbh I still don't know where the hell y'all found out that Kelly would sing Fade Into You on the show because the article in which it was the song first mentioned and related to Kelly said "Kelly's cutting the song in REAL LIFE". How is a TV show "real life"? And then y'all started bitching about how the song would be sung by Kelly on the show. I always thought it is meant for her new album. So I'm not suprised at all it wasn't in the episode.

I know Stronger didn't count for last year, but I calculated that the songwriters on Stronger (WDKY) would probably have received $550,000 for their involvement (from royalties etc). That's estimated at about 4million track sales and 1million album sales.

She needs to start taking credit on songs because she's basically just losing cash.

She's already rich as hell though. So she probably wants to support up and coming songwriters instead of taking all the cash herself.

It may not seem important to her now but in years to come those royalties will be bringing in a lot of cash. Isn't that when she started regularly making those slightly self-deprecating comments about how sometimes she's a little more Janis and that's cool with her? Not to hate on Janis, but ... no thanks. That said, when I saw her in concert in 2007 and 2009 she was flawless.

It would've smashed harder when MD was being released. There weren't many songs like that back then Why is everyone one step ahead of her? Why does she put out albums two years after recording songs?

It was never destined to smash with that redundant production and especially after a wave of self-empowerment songs. She just happened to release PLU at the end of that wave and it was a horrible tactic that rightfully flopped.
