Besides the ending of HP7 II being changed, I also think the 7s are great adaptations. Mostly because as the books got longer, I felt like the films got more confusing/senseless if you weren't already a fan of the books... so splitting the last book was such a good move.

The 6th film is mostly terrible though, which is UGH because it's my favorite book The only good thing about that film is that Gambon finally portrayed Dumbledore correctly. I cringe every time I watch the 4th movie, when he's screaming "HARRY POTTER DID YOU PUT YOUR NAME IN THAT ****ING GOBLET!??!?!" Dumbledore would never act like that

Exactly!!! It's like the people who made the later movies just skimmed the books and they didn't pay attention to important details.

The characters are supposed to be terrible people, though. That's why the new movie fails so miserably in my eyes, it portrays Daisy and Gatsby as some dandy little kids who are just unlucky-in-love.


Also anyone in here a fan of the Redford/Farrow movie? Whoever plays Jordan Baker in that film... hot damn
