Yes. The harsh reality is that Zedd and Madeon, the ones we were putting your hopes on have filled the album with their noisy and dated EDM tracks.
Not that I don't enjoy those bops, but I know they're not what I was initially expecting from them.
And I'm going to say even more: Gaga's lyric work on some of the tracks is more than questionable too.

Sorry but I have to disagree. DJWS is a good and versatile producer. All his tracks sound different but really well elaborated and polished. His versality working on different generes is surprisingly good as is shown on the album. I don't know if he's a yes man to Gaga or not but as long as he continues doing his job well I'm fine with him. And yes I wish the hee hees were louder on the studio version of ARTPOP but we don't know whose decision was to lower them

DJWS remains Gaga's best and most versatile producer but not a lot of you can appreciate this because you're blinded by chart success and will trash a song if you think it won't do well on radio. **** radio, and just appreciate the songs.
Yes, DJWS has produced some bad songs for Gaga but then again so has RedOne etc.
As much as I like the Zedd songs on ARTPOP, he was incredibly lazy by only producing one original song for Gaga.
Finally, if Gaga was to go back to RedOne and the songs they made didn't do well you'd instantly trash him and be like "omg she should have never worked with him again!!!!1!"

EXACTLY.
DJWS is a cocky arse who has delivered some clunkers (although who's to say it was his fault), but he's produced the most diverse range of songs and her best album tracks to date. He's the only producer so far that I feel could evolve with her and not just do dance/pop.
RedOne is not this saintly hitmaker that fans make him out to be and people wanting her to go BACKWARDS and have him take control of ACT II is baffling. I get that you're after hits, but surely we don't just want JD/PF/BR 7.0's? What makes you think he can deliver smashes in 2014 when his last hit was 2012 and dance is no longer the sound of top 40?
She needs to evolve.

You're right, but I don't think she/they will realistically do that this year. I feel she needs to go away and comeback with a total brand overhaul, not release something different that conflicts what she's touring simultaneously (which is likely what we're looking at). It wouldn't be authentic.
