Taylor Swift‘s Red Tour was one of the best-selling global tours of 2013, landing at No. 8 on a year-end tally. However, in North America alone, the trek was the most successful tour of the year, hands down.
Swift and her Red Tour landed at No. 1 on the Top 100 Tours of North America, as reported by Pollstar. In the U.S. and Canada, the tour raked in $112.7 million, beating out rockers Bon Jovi by a few million bucks in receipts. Interestingly enough, Bon Jovi landed at No. 1 on the global tour list on which Swift placed eighth.

Additionally, Swift earned yet another accolade. The Red Tour was the most lucrative trek ever arranged by a country artist, which means Swift also beat her own previously established record of $97.7 million in 2011.

I’m sure a lot of young people don’t really know much about Harvey Weinstein…..well he’s pretty much the stereotypical Hollywood producer who is known to be obnoxious and get things done.

He founded Miramax Pictures with his (lower-key, but equally business-wise) brother Bob. It is named after their parents (Mira and Max). They sold it to Disney and were eventually forced out. They eventually started a new company, The Weinstein Company.

The list of movies he’s been responsible for over the years is impressive - as a producer, he is in charge of bringing all the people together, or acquiring the film directly from the filmmaker before pouring money into a distribution plan (like he did with Kevin Smith’s “Clerks”, which he saw at Sundance back in 93 or so.)

If you’ve seen Tropic Thunder, you might remember Tom Cruise played a hilarious character……”Les Grossman”. You can put two and two together.
To get to the point, anyone who doubts Taylor can do some major things in Hollywood as an actor and creative force (not just music)….those people are stupid…..she has Harvey supporting her.

He knew exactly what he was doing when he let her see “One Chance”, knowing there was no closing credits song.

So basically the surprises in the Red era were the Cold As You performance, the SBT one, the few special guests and Highway Don't Care. The SN era had much more surprise tbh.

You are right. There is some Rihanna/Navy fan on there who says he has the right to voice his opinion and that Taylor fans can't say anything against him for voicing his opinion. True, but what is his reason for being there, but to argue against the truth. The truth is, by the article, itself, that Taylor had the top grossing tour in North America; that is the truth, no matter which way you look at it. So, technically, this Rihanna/Navy guy shouldn't be saying anything against the truth. It only makes him look like the fool.
