Rated R is an usual Rihanna album...except they released a mid-tempo first which convinced the tugboat army that the album was 'quality' rather than 'commercial'. They did the same with Unapologetic. Unfortunately, Breezy brought bad reviews rather than the good ones he handed IndustRih last time.
