I understand that it sounds very 2013 Twitter Gaga but for example, I threw a birthday party when I was 13 and invited my and other classes and only 2 people showed up. That really hurt me and even almost 20 years later it's still something that make me sad. Not cause I'm not over it but because I was so sad at that point and I'd love to hug myself and say: It won't matter.
I really like Artpop, but the fact that she made a song like Bloody Mary and then made an album like this I don't think anything on Artpop is as lyrically good as Bloody Mary.
To be fair to Gaga, she said this album would be a careless, fun, party album for a long time.
I guess she felt like she needed to do this because people found BTW too preachy.
And she compared it to TFM which lyricswise works imo.

So she makes a non-preachy album, yet in the same era starts preaching to fans about online kindness and monitoring them on Twitter? A walking paradox, indeed.
