Kournikova will be always remembered, in 20 or 30 years from now as the one who paved the way for other Russians, the one who was the most popular athlete in the world back in 1999,2000,2001&2002; the second woman who beat 4 TOP 10 players in one torunament, the one who's name was "one of the most common search strings on Google" and continued to be until 2008. All this despite not winning a singles torunament. And Nick Bolletieri said "she was the best I've ever seen". To date, no female or male tennis player gained that much attention, what resulted in Kournikova's lack of confidence and focus=0 singles titles.
