I will say this as a Madonna stan:
Mariah, in my opinion, is and always has been better looking. She's always had the better voice (that goes without saying though), and is a better songwriter, and has more classics.
Madonna's more innovative with her music, perhaps a harder worker than Mariah (which I can't say is an easy task), obviously the better performer, and is more of an icon to today's generation.
Mariah relied too much on her voice, and Madonna relied too much on her gimmicks. Both have what the other is lacking in an important field

I downloaded some of Moo's albums and I couldn't get into one song. Everything's like so generic, outdated, lame as all hell  And her voice tone
I tried some Madonna stuff and she gives me everything... Diverse catalogue of music, unique videos, excellent live performances ...... everything

Oh @ Madge her shock value keeping her around for 30 years, and longer than those other bitches. Oh well, I'm sure she doesn't mind, especially with all the acclaim she's gotten on the way.
Whitney got a record deal because of her family and her modelling. Mimi got famous because she slept with Tommy Mottola. Beyonce was made by her father as a child star, and got her first record out at 16 or something. Madonna actually went to college, worked as a dancer, played in various bands, got signed, got dropped and finally started getting traction in nightclubs due to her hard work and raw talent. Madonna worked for 6 years to get somewhere, and has continued to work harder than almost anyone else for 30 years. Keep trying though.
I guess Madonna just never made albums like Ray of Light then, it's always been about SEX books and cone bras, amounting to a grand total of two years of her entire career. Wow, thank you for enlightening me with your dumb ass.
