I think Horror movies are making their comeback to theatres. Although I haven't seen that many horror movies advertised to be released this year.

I don't think Paranormal Activity will last that much longer. I've watched them all (not the new one Marked Ones) and the fourth one was terrible. The first three were good but how long can they keep making the same film over and over again? Truly the Call of Duty of movies.

Has anyone of you watched a movie called "The Thing", it's about a group of people sent to the Antartic for some reason and they found about something like an alien that gets inside their bodies and makes exact copies of them. There's the original version from 1982 and the remake from the 00's.

It took me like ten years to find out the name of that movie (the one from 1982), I think I had seen it before but I didn't know the name until now, it's good but kind of nasty at some parts.

I love The Thing! It's one of Carpenter's weaker ones, in my opinion, but it's still awesome. The original isn't going to scare you too much (nor will the remake ), but it's very enjoyable.

Saw actually had a story throughout all the movies though, whereas PA is just the same thing every movie, like Call of Duty is the same thing over and over again. A girl gets dragged from a bed, lights turn on and off, a chandelier swings, furniture falls. I mean, what on earth could possibly happen in the fifth one.

Yes! I liked the prequel they released. I think that was mostly due to Mary Elizabeth Winstead being in it but still.

The way they tied them both together at the end was pretty neat as well.

I remember renting the video game back when it was on XBOX. Kind of messy but I still enjoyed it.

I've seen the original but I haven't seen the remake. The alien part coming out of the body was a bit nasty and creepy as hell for an older movie. The older movies usually have embarrassing effects compared to today's movies but that movie was good for its time.

I stanned so hard for Saw but the decline in quality was too real so I tend to forget the better side of it.

Yes. It got quite a bit acclaim - There was talk of a sequel but it never came to fruition.
