I am getting fed up with some of you consistently calling EDM or Dance music generic. If it's done in the right way it won't be generic, and right now on Radio a slow ballad type song is really what's Generic.

I'm pretty sure Shakira had said earlier that the song was going to be a mix of Dance and Rock. Shakira lead singles have never been generic, so I'm hopefully this will be something very interesting and unique.
