@Vin, Whitening your skin is used to enhance beauty. They do it in Pakistan, India and many asian countries all the damn time. IN general, darker skin is looked down upon. When they're whitening their skin, it's not to offend a race, it's to enhance their complexion and appear more beautiful. Is it wrong? Maybe, but it's certainly not racist.
With Colton, he's just an idiot. He doesn't understand the history of blackface (offensive and used to stereotype blacks) and he just needs to understand.
It's not right, but it's not disgustingly racist. He's not stereotyping, he's just impersonating a celebrity, which is just harmless joking.

I understand, but Tyra Banks, for example, isn't Pakistani, Indian, or Asian. She's American. And an
African American woman dressing up as a Caucasian woman is just as ignorant and idiotic-looking as a Caucasian American man dressing up as an African American man. It's that simple. If Colton Haynes was Dutch and lived in The Netherlands, apparently that would fly there, and if Tyra Banks was Japanese and lived in Japan, apparently that would fly there. But that's not the case -- they're both American living in the United States of America. Again, this is less about race and more about common sense. Respect the history of the nation you're in, in respect to your nationality. Very simple, straightforward thinking and logic.
