Honestly, I'm all for Ke$ha having creative freedom and such and doing whatever the **** she wants. But I think the stans need to realize that she really wouldn't have any the success she has had so far if it wasn't for Dr. Luke. (The Twitter stans really treat him like ****. ) And while he probably is a controlling asshole (this has been stated by others in the industry), it's important to note that fact that he's today's top hit maker; if Ke$ha really gets the chance to do an album full of Dirty Loves, then good for her, but you can kiss her success goodbye. And while it is one of my faves on Warrior, I still need my b0ps! So in the end I hope she works substantially with Luke on the next record.
Just my two cents on this Free Ke$ha debacle.

I used to agree with the whole "Dr. Luke gave her a career" thing, but now I don't agree with it at all. Ke$ha is a fantastic artist and she didn't need him. Would she have had TiK ToK success with her debut single without him? Probably not. But Ke$ha would have made it either way, she didn't need Dr. Luke... she could have been on Interscope or Capitol or some other label and slaying with different music.

LORDE: I definitely had that moment. I remember being in year eight, the year before high school, and absolutely loving “Tik Tok” by Ke$ha, and then six months later I got really into Animal Collective and Grizzly Bear and Yeasayer. I still love those bands, but I definitely went through a “you have to forget about the Ke$ha part of your life” thing. And then I realized that pop is really cool. In year 10, I have a really good friend called Zack, and we basically spent the first year of our friendship listening to old Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado and picking apart their melodic brilliance and everything that made us feel something and what it all meant. We would cover them on weird instruments, which was our way of accepting that type of music, but now I look back on that time and I’m like, that was actually a really good way of bringing together the alternative music that I liked and just the good, honest, fun pop stuff."

I still want Ke$ha to work with Dr Luke, but i think that Dr Luke should only produce half of the next album. Also i definitely think that Wayne Coyne should produce atleast 3 tracks, but in doing that they have to be tracks that dont make me fall asleep. And then the other 5-6 tracks could be Produced by Greg Kurstin, Calvin Harris, Max Martin (Zedd maybe) and others.
I would be happy with that

I want Zedd and Bloodshy on her new album. Not more than half of the songs should be Luke, a bit less would be good:
-------
HausOfCarlos i listened to Charli's album again and i like it a lot

I agree with this to an extent... Dr. Luke is a hit maker and she needs to stay with him because an album of Dirty Loves would ruin her career but the Warrior era flopped because of LUKES single choices... If Last Goodbye and Thinking of You were released as singles she would of had a much more succesful era in my opinion. The next era they NEED to cooperate and meet half way, I still hate Luke as a person, he is a disgusting bully but its not like Ke$ha needs to be friends with him but she does need him on her next album. Timber slays, its fresh and extremely catchy. That is what she needs on her next album; Catchy pop/dance tracks which experiment with country/rock/folk elements and use them to add to the song as well. Also a single thats not about sex/partying would help her image.

Im here for Zedd but I dont think Ke$ha would suit a Bloodshy track. I really want her to work with Jeff Bhasker, Paul Epworth or Mark Ronson.

Bloodshy is quite diverse. Something like Katy's Love Me can fit Kesha
Wait Lorde stans for Kesha (a bit), I like her even more now.
Shee loves Gaga, Nicki, Kesha and Rihanna

To be honest I don't really care which producers she works with for her next album, as long as she gives us a mixture of fun pop songs and killer touching ballads and maybe a rock song or two - basically all of the good stuff that you want to see in a Ke$ha album. Even Animal had rock influences (Party At A Rich Dude's House).
Let's face it, it's easy to say, "I want Ke$ha to work with Calvin Harris / Avicii / Bloodshy / Greg Kurstin", etc. but at the end of the day all producers can make quality productions as well as **** ones. Dr. Luke is no exception.
If Ke$ha's happy, I'll be happy, and whoever Ke$ha decides to work with is fine with me, especially if she makes the most of her sessions with Dr. Luke and instead of regretting working with him and wishing she could be recording more alt rock songs with Wayne, focusses 100% on making a catchy pop track or touching Dr. Luke ballad that isn't generic and also shows a bit of a more honest and fearless side to her (like she claims the album will do), then things can work out great for her.
